Tyler, February 20, 2017: Scandrill Inc. hosted Senator Ted Cruz at its drilling rig Scan Gold. The Scan Gold is currently drilling for XTO Energy in the Midland Basin. Scandrill Inc. has drilled more then 800 wells for XTO over the last 20 years.
The Scan Gold is Shale rig outfitted with advanced walking system and 7500 psi mud system enabling it to drill in excess of 20,000’.
Scandrill team is a proud supporter of Senator Ted Cruz and appreciated the opportunity to visit with the Senator. Senator Cruz had the opportunity get on the brake handle under the careful supervision of Rig Manager, Joseph Schultz, Brownsboro, Texas. Majority of the crew on the Scan Gold are from the Tyler and surrounding East Texas area.
